The Kansas Shared Digital Collection is a state-wide shared digital collection of PreK-12 eBooks and audiobooks. Any public or non-public PreK-12 school in Kansas can join. Schools will buy into this shared collection on an annual basis. By pooling together funding and sharing resources, students will have access to a large collection of titles at a low cost.
If you have questions about the Kansas Shared Digital Collection, please contact your local Mackin Consultant, Todd Harold, todd.harold@mackin.com. Please send MackinVIA questions to eservices@mackin.com.
Please note: these records do not contain any local holdings/barcodes. You will want to make sure to tell the library catalog to assign barcodes to the file during the import process.
If you are looking to remove expired consortium titles from your library catalog system, please review this video for a refresher on how to run a report from your MackinVIA administrator page.
