Tag search AND/OR option – When searching on the Tags page, the ability to switch AND/OR search operators has been added. When the user selects OR, the results include titles with any selected tag. This is the current default. When the user selects AND, the results include ONLY titles that have all the tags applied.

 

Review source interest level – We are introducing a new interest/grade level that is applied to titles by the journal reviewers. The listing of levels is visible on both result and detail views as well as printouts and exports. Currently there are four review sources that apply interest/grade levels: Booklist, Kirkus, Publishers Weekly, and School Library Journal. They are listed in a single field in alphabetical order.

Non-ISBN searches – We implemented a customer suggestion to revert the search type “ISBN” when a new search term is entered in the primary search field. Example: The user enters an ISBN, and the search type automatically flips to ISBN. On the subsequent search, the user enters a keyword. Instead of an invalid ISBN message, the search type flips to Keyword.

Online File Transfer page – We’ve updated the Online File Transfer for MARC records. A new option “Series Fill” was added to the purpose dropdown menu. When selected, instructions appear directing the user to the Custom List Request form.
